The Beach Stormers is a Surf Life Saving Surf Sports series designed for competitors to increase participation opportunities in Distance Runs, Beach Sprints and Beach Flags across Australia, regardless of their competitiveness or skill level, whilst also providing racing that is less predictable and more exciting.

This major differentiator for this series is the Round Robin format for Distance Runs and Beach Sprints. Guaranteed racing for all. Plus races over variable distances, delivering more competitive and less predictable competition for all involved.

The 2026/2027 series will be run in 5 States across Australia, with 3 x 5,000 point events in each. Then there will be a 10,000 point grand finale to be held at the iconic Manly Beach in January 2027. The top 3 results from any of these events will count for the overall series points table.

The Beach Stormer Series is open to the Under 13, Youth (combined U14 and U15), Under 17, Opens and Masters competitors.
